4 Simple steps to get a Thailand Privilege Visa

Step 1 Submitting Your Application

You can start the application for the Thailand Privilege Visa from anywhere, whether in Thailand or overseas. Required documents for Applicant (Soft copy via email is acceptable)

1.  Membership Application Fee Submission Form ( Download Here

2.  Copy of an identification page in your passport

  • Please take a photo or properly color-scanned the passport and also avoid any reflections that may occur.
  • Please make sure that all necessary information on the passport can clearly be seen, otherwise this may be rejected by the immigration office.
  • The validity of passport must be over 1 year, and more than 3 blank pages left for visa affixation.

3.  Straight face photograph with white or blue background (passport size)

4.  Copy of current visa / arrival stamp or permit of stay (If any)

5.  Completed Application Form *properly scanned copy, with handwritten signature*

6.  PDPA Form *properly scanned copy, with handwritten signature for each applicant* ( Download Here

* Kindly note that the entire process will take approximately 1 – 3 months. *

*The application fee of THB 50,000 is refundable** in case the result of the background check turns out as “immigration not approved” only, and it is non-refundable in any other circumstances. (**Processing fee will be applied.)   

Step 2 Background Check

Background checks conducted by the immigration bureau may take between 4 to 6 weeks, varying depending on the applicant's nationality.

Step 3 Payment of the Membership

Once you receive the approval letter, you'll proceed to pay the membership fee. Payment can be made through various methods for your convenience

Step 4 Issuance of Visa

If you're abroad, you can affix your Thai Privilege visa at the Thai Embassy or Consulate. If you're already in Thailand, you can do so at the Bangkok Immigration office
